Samsung Campaign Microsite & Live Stream Integration – Cosmo-net

A dynamic hero with countdown and scheduled switching, Supabase-backed lead capture, and an embedded live stream — built for Cosmo-net's Samsung launch and reusable for future promotions.

IKBI delivered a campaign microsite with time-based hero content, a dedicated promotion landing page with secure lead capture, and a branded live stream page so users stayed on domain.

Project Summary

Cosmo-net needed a dynamic campaign system to launch and promote Samsung products with time-sensitive urgency, structured lead capture, and on-brand live event hosting. IKBI delivered a reusable microsite with scheduled hero switching, Supabase-backed lead management, and embedded live streaming that kept users on-site throughout the campaign lifecycle.

The system was designed for campaign flexibility: after the live event, the hero and promotions were updated for ongoing Samsung Galaxy offers, demonstrating the architecture's reusability for future marketing campaigns.

What We Built

  • Countdown timer in homepage hero: Dynamic countdown creating urgency before the Samsung Unboxing event, with automatic phase switching (pre-event → live → post-event).
  • Dedicated promotions page: Campaign-specific landing page with clear value proposition, imagery, and sign-up CTA to drive conversions.
  • Lead capture form saving to Supabase: Structured lead collection capturing name, contact details, promotion ID, and source — enabling attribution tracking and campaign performance analysis.
  • Embedded live stream page: Branded YouTube stream integration keeping viewers on Cosmo-net's domain with responsive layout for desktop and mobile.
  • Post-event update: Hero reverted to Samsung Galaxy S26 promotion with double storage offer; lead capture system continued to operate for ongoing campaigns without rebuild.

Why It Mattered

  • Campaign velocity: Time-based promotions require fast iteration and automatic content switching. The scheduled hero system eliminated manual updates during critical campaign phases.
  • Data-driven attribution: Structured lead capture with promotion ID and source tracking enabled Cosmo-net to measure campaign effectiveness and optimize future efforts.
  • On-brand live events: Embedding the live stream kept traffic on Cosmo-net's domain rather than redirecting to third-party platforms, maintaining brand control and user experience.
  • Reusable infrastructure: The system was built for campaign longevity — after the initial Samsung Unboxing, the same architecture supported ongoing Galaxy promotions without engineering rebuild.

The Challenge

Cosmo-net needed to launch a time-based promotion for Samsung with clear urgency and multiple technical requirements: a countdown to drive action, structured lead capture for the campaign, and a way to keep audiences on-site during a live stream event.

  • Time-based promotion launch: The campaign had a defined start and end, with a live event in between that required the hero and CTAs to reflect the right phase (pre-event, live, post-event).
  • Urgency via countdown: A countdown timer in the hero was needed to create urgency and signal when the main event or offer would go live.
  • Lead capture requirement: Promo sign-ups had to be captured in a structured way (name, contact, promotion ID, source) for marketing and follow-up.
  • Live stream retention: Viewers had to be kept on the Cosmo-net domain during the stream, with a branded experience rather than sending traffic away to a third-party platform.

The Solution

A. Dynamic Hero Countdown System

A countdown timer was embedded in the hero to drive urgency. The hero content was designed to switch on a schedule (e.g. from "coming soon" to "live now" to post-event promotion), so the site always showed the right message without manual intervention.

The implementation was kept SEO-safe: server-rendered where possible, with no blocking scripts, so search engines and Core Web Vitals were not negatively affected.

B. Promotion Landing Page

A dedicated campaign route was created for the promotion. Visitors could sign up with name and contact details; the backend captured promotion ID and source so Cosmo-net could attribute leads and run future campaigns from the same system.

Custom software development at IKBI uses Supabase (Postgres) for secure, structured data. The lead capture schema was designed so it could be reused for future promotions without rebuilding.

C. Embedded Live Stream Page

A branded streaming page was built with an embedded YouTube player. Users watched the stream without leaving the Cosmo-net domain, with full-width responsive layout and consistent branding.

The page was fully responsive so mobile and desktop viewers had a good experience, and the same layout can be reused for future events.

D. Post-Event Promotion Pivot

After the live event, the hero was updated to promote the Samsung Galaxy S26 (or equivalent) offer. The same backend and promotion landing flow were reused, so marketing and engineering could run ongoing campaigns without a full rebuild.

Tech Stack

Results & Impact

  • Campaign flexibility: Hero and CTAs could switch by phase (countdown → live → post-event) without manual content updates.
  • Structured lead capture: All sign-ups stored with promotion ID and source for attribution and future campaigns.
  • Marketing and engineering alignment: A single system supported both the one-off launch and ongoing promotions.
  • Reusable architecture: The promotion landing page and backend can be reused for future campaigns with minimal change.

Frequently asked questions

How do you build countdown-based marketing campaigns?
We build countdown-driven campaigns using a dynamic hero that switches content based on schedule (e.g. pre-event countdown, live stream, then post-event promotion). The countdown is implemented in a way that is SEO-safe and avoids layout shift, with a scheduled event switch so the hero updates automatically when the promotion or event phase changes.
Can you integrate live streams into business websites?
Yes. We integrate live streams (e.g. YouTube) into branded pages on your domain so users stay on your site. The stream is embedded in a responsive, full-width layout with your branding, and the same page can be repurposed for future events.
How do you capture promotion leads securely?
We use Supabase (PostgreSQL) as the backend to capture leads with a structured schema: name, contact details, promotion ID, and source. Data is stored securely with Row Level Security where needed, and the same backend can be reused for future campaigns.
Can campaign systems be reused for future promotions?
Yes. The Cosmo-net Samsung campaign was designed for reuse: the promotion landing page, lead capture backend, and hero switching logic can be repurposed for new campaigns (e.g. post-event we pivoted the hero to Samsung Galaxy S26) without rebuilding from scratch.
